The garage door is an entryway for criminals even if we do not think so at first. Unfortunately they can also be dangerous to those who do not use them properly. Young kids as well as adults are known to be hit by the doors as they are closing. In order to avoid this problem you need to install these sensors.
Most garage door systems will make these available with them. They use a sensor beam that stretches across the bottom of the doorway where people will walk through. When anything is blocking it the door will not stop. If someone tries to walk through it when it is going down it will stop and then go back up. These units will cost between $30 to $40.
